Riding a bike is a great way to get out and explore your local community. At Gladstone Bicycle Centre, we know how enjoyable cycling is, it’s also a healthy form of exercise and can be a good way to meet new people and socialise with those you already know—especially if you join in on our community rides.
We do a training road ride from the shop every Saturday morning at 6am. From beginners to the experienced riders. Your bike must be a road riding bike, flat bar or road bike. We finish with a coffee after at The Coffee Club.
We are very involved with our local community and provide sponsorship whenever we can.
- Every year we give to the Mayor’s Carols by Candlelight. We’ve been doing this for 27 years.
- We sponsor the yearly fishing comp called ‘Tannum Hook Up’. This is a country-wide fishing competition and we were one of the first sponsors.
